Great family type atmosphere, good food and friendly staff.
A very interesting place out in the middle of nowhere! The food was excellent! They serve beer and you can bring your own bottle of wine! The steak is delicious and save room for the pecan pie with ice cream!
The service was bad
I almost hate to give this great place a positive review here, because I love that it is so rustically and naturally authentic and really want it to stay that way for me and for the people I bring there to impress with some genuine Tennessee charm... Good reviews will only bring success, which will only bring crowds, which would be great for the owner, but bad for selfish me. That said, The Country Store is a wonderful and very casual and fun place to eat... And you won't find a better Rib Eye in all of Middle Tennessee! Don't forget to save a few scraps for the adorable stray dog waiting patiently for you outside on the front porch! I swear he's not a prop!
The Ribey's are fantastic!
The water was 50 percent chlorine.the primerib was tough,cold,and didn't taste like any primerib I ever ate. Won't be going back
